Justin Dodd is the Canon Missioner and Prior of the Community of St Paulinus at Sheffield Cathedral. He works with colleagues, lay leaders and civic partners in the City to cultivate creative approaches to mission and evangelism. He is currently leading a project exploring sacramental church planting and revitalisation from the Cathedral. Raised in Johannesburg, his formation was shaped by the church's role in the struggle against apartheid, and a commitment to justice and reconciliation continues to inform his priesthood. Before ordination he spent a decade in the advertising industry there — working as a copywriter and creative director on campaigns for brands such as Nike, Mercedes-Benz and Smart Car. He served for fourteen years in the Diocese of London, leading parishes and planting new worshipping communities, before moving to Sheffield in 2023.
