Barbara Brown Taylor is an Episcopal priest, professor, author, and theologian and is one of the best-known preachers in the United States.

She is the author of many books, including New York Times bestsellers Leaving Church (Canterbury Press 2011), An Altar in the World (Canterbury Press 2017), and Holy Envy (Canterbury Press 2019).

Mark Oakley

Mark Oakley is Dean of St John’s College Cambridge. He is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, Kings College London; Visiting Scholar at Sarum College, and a Deputy Priest in Ordinary to HM the Queen.  He is an Ambassador for StopHate UK, Patron of Tell MAMA (supporting those affected by anti-Muslim hate crime) and a Trustee of the Civil Liberties Trust.

His books include By Way of the Heart (Canterbury Press 2019) and The Splash of Words (Canterbury Press 2016).
